The location right by the sea was amazing, and we loved the peaceful ambiance throughout the hotel. The service was great, with attentive staff who really went the extra mile. We enjoyed a delicious meal at the Arrels Restaurant, and our room was impeccably clean and well-equipped.

Perfect access to a bus stop. A view of the bay from our window. Meals in hotel were excellent. Location was within 10 min walking distance to cova de sa grava.

I am not a native European but I make frequent travels to European countries . I must say that the hospitality of the staff at Melia De Mar is excellent . It was our best hotel staff experience so far . We took an upgrade to a suite which was too good . We had missed our flight and had to stay half a day extra in the hotel . Sylvia (the receptionist) was very kind enough not to charge us . I would recommend this hotel to everyone .

The Gran Melia offers fine Mediterranean views and an excellent location for business meetings. The staff were professional and attentive, efficiently assisting with my presentation needs, including setting up equipment in the business center.

The Wi-Fi was inconsistent, which hampered my ability to work efficiently.

Room was very good and at a keen price. Hotel is very modern and clean.

The extremely loud music by the pool - seems like the manager like a piano concertos!!! The cistern of drinks and food was extortionate....everybody eats out in Puerto Portals!!

A lovely welcome as you arrive, the staff really cannot do enough for you, all the service was excellent and the spa was well worth a visit.

The bath and toilet could have been of a higher standard

Had an amazing group vacation with friends! We loved lounging by the beautiful beach and taking in the fine views. Dinner at the Arrels Restaurant was a highlight-definitely try the seabass. Just be aware that there's an extra charge for those scenic tables, which can add up. A great time!

One downside was the room service. They kept rearranging our personal items. It was kind of frustrating after a long day out. Plus, the parking fee of €25 per day felt a bit steep.

Actually everything was great, my next choice again in Illetas. The hotel was spotless and had absolutely amazing and fantastic staff in very polite manner. The morning breakfast was satisfactory with chilled music and healthy options, as example.

It made my trip to Illetas a fabulous experience. Everything was great, the parking was on site, the room was outstanding. Nice services were available. By the way, I paid gbp 21 per day to get parking lot.

My wife wished there were more dining options suitable for families, as the limited choices during the day felt constrained for our 6-night stay.

Very friendly staff. Great welcome. Lovely room, complimentary Nespresso was nice. Great Spa available if you like that sort of thing. Location is brilliant in a quiet area with a few cafes and shops. Only 10-15 min on the bus to centre of Palma for 1.25 euros. Very relaxing.

They play relaxing music by the pool which is nice if your out there. However, we were woken by this every morning at about 9 as its just a little too loud. Ear plugs may be a good idea!

The hotel rooms are well decorated and the sea view is great. Very good facilities and we liked the "design" style of the hotel

Although we were not directly concerned, we didn't like at all the "Adults Only" policy of the Hotel (no kids under 15 years of age). The water pressure in our room was ridiculously low and taking a shower was quite a challenge. Also, we didn't like the all day music which you can hear in most common areas of the hotel. If you like silence, this hotel is not for you.

the only downside was the beach not being swimmable😕. however, the breakfast was the largest buffet I've ever seen! ! loved the spa access and the happy hour drinks. the room was clean and had a stunning sea view.

Location is ideal for access to Palma but far enough away to be peaceful Good breakfast

Evening meals were a bit confusing between a la carte and buffet.Access into the sea was difficult for anyone with lack of mobility

Beautiful setting, funky decor. Close to Palma so could take advantage of all the bars and restaurants.

Main restaurant was very expensive. Drinks were also expensive. Used as a conference hotel so sometimes there were a number of large, loud groups. Room not ready, card key not ready, were told we would be informed when both were ready, but we had to chase.
